David recently retired from a thirty-year career in Catholic Education with 20 years at Red Deer Catholic Regional Schools.   David is happily married to Cathy for the past 32 years and has four grown children and five grandchildren. He is an active member of Sacred Heart Parish currently serving on the Social Justice committee and the Adult Education committee and as a catechist on the RCIA team..

As a Secular Franciscan, David is called to live his life, ‘going from gospel to life and life to gospel’. He serves the local fraternity as Spiritual Assistant and is the regional Director of Youth.

David is a member of the Knights of Columbus, the largest Catholic Men's organization in the world.  He is currently serving as Grand Knight for Sacred Heart Council #3408.

After David retired from teaching, he completed a two year certificate program in spiritual direction.

David has been instrumental is setting up a not for profit charitable society to assist people who are trafficked. Magdalene House Society can provide excellent opportunities for survivors of trafficking to get the care they need to rebuild their lives.   

David believes that Catholic Education is a gift to be shared and protected and seeks your support in making this possible.
