A bit about me:
I moved to Red Deer in 1987. Originally from Halifax, Nova Scotia, I received a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in mathematics from Dalhousie University. I love Red Deer, and feel fortunate to call this city home. My two children, Brian and Laura, went through the English and French Immersion programs in the Red Deer Public School District from kindergarten to grade 12. Laura is attending Red Deer College. Brian passed away last year.
I have been an actively involved in the community for many years, both as a volunteer and previously as the Program Director at the Central Alberta Brain Injury Society. As a trustee, I am committed to working on behalf of our community to provide an excellent education system which will both educate our students and develop tomorrow's citizens.
Thank you,
Cathy
