As a Trustee I will support the following:
- local autonomous School Boards to keep the decision making closer
to the community and students we serve
- building strong partnerships with all of our local education partners
- working to increase our grade 12 completion and graduation rates
- continuous improvement to our Districts overall academic achievement results
- improvement in learning outcomes for our First Nations Students
- the construction of a new Elementary School in the southeast of Red Deer to meet
our increasing student population demands.
- finalizing plans for Riverglen School with Chinooks Edge District
- the question that I normally ask myself during debate is "what would be in the best interests of our students"?
I humbly and sincerely ask for your VOTE and support at the polls on Election Day, October 18, 2010.
Please feel free to phone or e-mail me with any questions or concerns that you may have.
