In the race for mayor: Morris Flewwelling and Hilary Penko.

It was a long night, but the results for Red Deer’s 2010 Election finally did come in close to midnight on Monday, October 18.

“Political rookie” Hilary Penko gave incumbent mayor Morris Flewwelling a run for his money with 6,219 votes compared to Flewwelling’s 8,100.
